We are now working on a follow up project that looks at how these feelings and experiences have been affected by COVID19 and the lockdown measures.

Tide responded to the Welsh Parliament’s Health, Social Care and Sport Committee’s inquiry into Covid 19 by sharing anonymised views of carers who had taken part in the tide Covid-19 survey and the views of carer members who had contacted us directly. In particular, carers had commented on: visiting restrictions in care homes, lack of PPE, correspondence from Welsh Government and available information, paid care, shopping and loneliness.
