Living grief story bank

As part of our focus on the feelings of loss and grief carers can experience we are opening a story bank with case studies from carers across the UK. We hope that others can recognise themselves in some of these experiences, and will feel less alone. It takes courage to share your experiences of grief when caring for someone with dementia.

At least is not enough

Watch Natasha share her thoughts on grief and what language to use when speaking to carers.

Care home grief

Listen to a carer share openly how her feelings of grief changed when her mum moved to a care home.

If you would like to contribute to this with your own experiences, please get in touch with Beau on beau@lifestorynetwork.org.uk. You can do this anonymously, or with your name attached. Your story can be written, recorded on audio or on video. You will see the questions beforehand, and have complete control over what will be shared with the public in the end.
