tide are looking to recruit and appoint an advisory group in Scotland. The role of the advisory group(s) is to advise, support and help promote the work of tide in each country of the UK. tide -‘together in dementia everyday’, is a UK wide involvement network of carers, former carers and health and care professionals who are working together to build a better future for carers of people living with dementia. Hosted by Life Story Network CIC, our team is made up of a group of former carers of people with dementia who are passionate about improving the lives of carers and those they care for across the UK.
Tide –together in dementia everyday is committed to work in equal partnership with former and current carers of people living with dementia as well as with like-minded organisations and networks, who share our values and commitment. We are now looking to recruit former/current carers of people living with dementia as well as organisations and networks to join our Tide Advisory Group in Scotland. The Advisory Group will have a total membership of twelve; equally split between carers of people living with dementia and partner organisations.
We are keen to attract organisational partners and carers, who can represent or enable us to reach diverse communities including young carers and carers from the Black and Minority Ethnic communities, Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender communities, Traveller and Gypsy communities as well as the increasing number of individuals, who are ageing without children (AwOC).
