A Simplified Guide to Dementia Drugs

We understand that when you are caring for someone with dementia, there can be an overwhelming amount of information to understand.  The world of drugs and medicine can be incredibly complicated to wrap your head around. That's why we've teamed up with Aisling O'Neill to help you understand dementia drugs in simple terms, what what effects they have on a person with dementia and how they can be used to treat certain symptoms.

Aisling O'Neill is a 4th Year Neuroscience BSc student at the University of Manchester. For her final year project she has designed a resource  to help family carers understand a little more about the types of drug treatments that may be prescribed for the person they are caring for and why. She has brought the core information into one place and simplified the science.
