When someone close to you has been diagnosed with dementia you can experience complex feelings of grief. We realised that this was an important topic after conversations with carers. They spoke openly and bravely about their experiences of grief during and after their caring role. To gather more information on this topic and to open up this conversation we asked carers on our network across the UK to share their experiences with us.
We have produced two booklets about the feelings of grief that carers can experience when caring for a person with dementia.
Watch, read and listen to carers from across the UK sharing their feelings, thoughts, and experiences of grief. Find out more here.
We regularly hold events talking about this topic, you can find out the date of the next one on our events page.
