New trustees appointed

We are delighted to announce the appointment of two new trustees to the board of tide.

RKay

Roger Kay has been a member of the Tide Advisory Group since its inception and he is also am a member of the Law for Dementia Carers Steering Group. Roger is a retired Professor of Law and former Head of School and Associate Dean of Faculty. As well as bringing his knowledge of governance, management, and quality assurance to the board Roger is also an 'expert in experience' having cared for his wife who now has advanced dementia. clarissa-giebel

Dr Clarissa Giebel is a dementia care researcher at the University of Liverpool. Her research primarily focuses on health inequalities in dementia care and ageing, trying to remove barriers to accessing the right care at the right time. Clarissa has been a long time collaborator and supporter of tide, her goal to raise awareness of dementia and enable discussion between people working in the field and those affected by dementia is fully aligned with tide's mission.
