Preparing you for Getting Involved in Research
Join us for an informative session about taking part in research related to dementia. Unpaid carers are often approached to participate in research. We find that many members have questions about what it would mean to be involved in research and what they would be expected to contribute.
We want to help our members to make informed decisions about taking part in research, and to understand more about what the process involves.
This session will be hosted by:
- Ruth Eley, tide Co-Founder and Chair
- Dr Clarissa Giebel, tide Trustee & Senior Research Fellow in Dementia Studies at University of Liverpool
- Eleanor Connelly, tide Learning and Development Coordinator
We will give you the chance to ask questions about participating in studies, and learn how to spot opportunities to make your voices heard in a meaningful way.
