Sad News: Roy Tindall

We are sad to learn that Roy has died after a long spell of ill-health. He had cared for his dear wife Cassie who had dementia and he regarded it as an immense privilege to be able to do so. He wrote several poems about his experiences. Within a week of her death he took part in a workshop with health and social care managers to identify some practical changes that could be made to improve life for people with dementia and carers; he spoke eloquently about the need for post-bereavement support and later wrote the powerful piece that features here. Our staff have referred to it many times in the work that they do. Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time [/av_textblock]
