The Big Coffee Morning - Join us for Carer's Week 2020

The Big Coffee Morning Wednesday 10th June at 10.30am Please join us for our Big Coffee Morning and meet other Dementia Carers from across the four nations. As it is Carers Week we want to make it a bit of celebration so make sure you have a cuppa ready and perhaps a special cake or biscuit. The theme for Carers Week is ‘Making Caring Visible” and to support this we would like to ask you to send in a photo that you feel represents your home or home nation. It can be anything – a flower, your garden, a book, kitchen utensil, it just has to be something that means home to you. Our plan is to make these photos into a slideshow and show it at the Coffee Morning so we do need you to send your photo in by the end of this week please- by Friday 5th June. Thank you to those who have already submitted photos. The theme of Making Caring Visible will be the focus of our conversation for this Coffee Morning and in particular we will be asking two questions which you may want to consider in advance. What is it that helps or would help make you feel visible as a carer? What makes or has made you feel invisible as a carer? If you take part in our regular National Coffee Mornings please just use the usual zoom link to join in. If you would like to take part and join us or find out more details please register your interest by contacting me at linda@tide.uk.net or call me on 07719 983 722. For any support in joining or if you have questions please let us know by contacting – Fiona McMahon on 07841457596 or Bethan Morris on Bethan@tide.co.uk We look forward to seeing you there!
