tide Carers Set to Attend ADI Conference

Three tide carers have been selected to attend the Alzheimer's Disease International Conference in Chicago, USA at the end of July. John Stephen, Ray Fallan and Natasha Hamilton will be joined by tide's Amanda McCarren at the 33rd International Conference. It is due to Life Changes Trust, who have provided bursaries, that we are able to share this news.     The conference is a unique opportunity to bring together everyone with an interest in dementia - staff and volunteers of Alzheimer associations, people living with dementia, unpaid carers, family members, clinicians, care professionals and scientists - to share and learn from one another. The tide carers in attendance aim to promote the importance of  involving carers in policies and raise awareness of what carers are lacking in terms of support. We will be sharing more in the lead up to the conference, and sharing our reflections post conference, so join tide for free today to receive updates.
