Together in Dementia Everyday (TIDE) continues to strengthen the voice of carers with the appointment of new charity trustees

We are delighted to announce the appointment of four new trustees to further strengthen our board and help shape tide’s work as it enters its first year operating as a charity. The board of trustees is vital to the success of the charity. It is comprised of experts from a diverse range of fields, many of whom have experience of caring for a person with dementia. The new appointments are the first trustees to be recruited since tide became a charity in December 2019.

On announcing the appointments, Chair of the board, Jean Tottie (Winner of Lifetime Achievement Award, National Dementia Care Awards 2018) said, “We are delighted to welcome the new trustees to tide. They bring a breadth of knowledge and experience that will be valuable to help us reach our vision of a world where carers of people with dementia use their voices and society reflects and responds to their needs”
