tide are looking for a dynamic Strategic Fundraising Manager for Scotland to join our team to help us strengthen and increase the long term sustainability of tide across the Scotland.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Strategic Fundraiser who can develop an innovative approach to funding proposals which reflect the needs of carers and former carers of people with Dementia and the ambitions of tide with the power to capture funders’ imaginations.
You will focus on scoping, planning and developing funding bids to help grow income from high value funders including; corporate partners, charitable trusts and National Government bodies.
Your contribution will align with the overall Mission, Vision and outcomes of tide, complimenting both our strategic business and delivery plans as well as ensuring we meet the outcomes of our Income Generation Strategy, translating into fundable proposals for tide to secure new income and partnerships.
Location: Home based with hot desking availability at out Glasgow City Centre office with travel across Scotland and the rest of the UK as required
Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 pa (d.o.e)+ competitive charity-sector benefits
Hours: Full Time
Duration: Initial 12 month contract with option to extend

About You
As Strategic Fundraising Manager (Scotland), you will:
- Work closely with the Head of Business Development and Performance and the Head of tide Development and National Lead for tide in Scotland to identify opportunities for growth of the business; identifying new potential income streams and producing strategies to access these funds
- Draft, submit and manage proposals for funding through tenders, grants, sponsorship and commissions
- Create and maintain a resource directory of current national, regional and local information to support funding opportunities, including demographics, research reports, commissioning priorities and information from colleagues working on specific projects
- Build collaborative relationships with key partners, developing joint funding proposals where this will add value
- Represent tide at meetings and events as appropriate, promoting tide’s corporate messages in a consistent and professional manner
