> Living Grief and Bereavement
Feelings of grief and bereavement are understood when someone has died but what about when the person is still living? We understand carers of people with dementia sometimes feel this way.
This complex feeling has not been widely spoken about. We realised that this was an important topic after conversations with carers. They spoke openly and bravely about their experiences of grief during and after their caring role. To gather more information on this topic and to open up this conversation we asked carers on our network across the UK to share their experiences with us.
